North Shields Basketball Club have produced a clear guide for their Parents and Players as to how to apply for Basketball England Membership through the new Portal. Basic Membership INCLUDES a Local League Player's Licence for free .
The guide is designed mainly for Juniors/Parents, but it is what is needed to get Local League players to the minimum level of BE Membership.
It specifically guides applicants to self payment, rather than passing the responsibility to their Club .

I recommend those Teams who have members who are struggling to get registered to use this ( which is an augmemted version of the BE's own advice ) .
Additionally it seems that those using Google Chrome or Firefox or Edge browsers are having much more success than others.
There are still significant issues with the Club/Team page and those wanting additional Licences .
