Postponed TML games in need of URGENT rearrangement
The Chair of the League has written to a number of team secretaries stating that urgent action is required by a number of teams that have league fixtures in need of rearrangment. The teams involved are:

Morpeth Fusion
North Shields Tropics
CSSC Cyclones
CSSC Hurricanes
Kenton Lightning
Kenton Storm
Oxclose Beavers
Oxclose Marvels
Phoenix Knights
Northumbrian Nomads
Westgate Hoopstars
Whickham Warriors
Cardinal Vipers
TyneMet Basketball League exists so that local people can PLAY basketball. It is very rare indeed that there are any unplayed fixtures in this league
and the Chair is very concerned that teams are not taking ownership of getting postponed fixtures into the playing schedule for the remaining 10 league
weeks.
Team Secretaries have responsibility for arranging the rescheduling of postponed games.
( The team requesting the original postponement should take the lead in this )
A deadline for finalising the rescheduled dates has been set: 5pm on Wednesday 31 January.
It is NOT the TML Fixture Secs job to do this rescheduling.
To be clear about consequences of any unplayed games: both teams receive zero points in the league tables; this may also be taken into consideration in deciding whether or not teams should be accepted into the league for 2018-19 over those teams that have played all of their league fixtures.
Once an agreement is reached then please send the details to the League Chairman BEFORE the above deadline .
